Kyle will be in Alberta attending an annual mushroom foray and streamlining the process for specimens to be DNA barcoded. Kyle will be engaged with the society members teaching proper techniques to have further fungal specimens continued to be sequenced. Lastly Kyle will be presenting on his work in North America with a talk titled; “Mapping North America’s fungal diversity with high throughput DNA barcoding”.
